How we handle your data
Houtlet uses your contact details, postcode and project preferences to handle your enquiry. You will not be signed up for marketing as a result. If you have questions about your data, please contact us at hello@pvcvloer.net.
Your details are sent to our team in the secure project environment. They are not included in the shared selection link or the brochure.
Website analytics
Only if you give permission do we use Google Analytics to measure the use of public pages. Your enquiry will also work without this permission. Your choice is saved in this browser. You can change your choice here.
Your previously entered answers
After submission, we store your answers with your enquiry. Using a secure cookie, this browser can pre-fill them again for up to 30 days. You can edit the answers and review them before submitting a new enquiry. On another device or after deleting the cookie, your details will not be recognised automatically. We do not link this to other websites. We store the initial source of your enquiry and subsequent campaign referrals separately; shared reports contain numbers only.
Conversations with Semmy
Semmy is our AI flooring adviser. Google processes the text needed to provide an answer. During a voice conversation, your browser sends the audio directly to Google Gemini so that Semmy can listen and reply. The microphone may stay active during his reply to allow you to interrupt. Stopping the session or leaving the page ends the connection. The website does not store audio recordings.
We retain chat text and technical request data to support and improve Semmy. Text from a voice conversation only appears during the conversation and is currently not stored by the website. Nor is a conversation summary sent to a staff member. Email addresses, phone numbers, postcodes and recognisable name and address patterns are automatically removed from stored text. This filtering may be incomplete; the data is therefore pseudonymised and not guaranteed to be anonymous. Do not share sensitive information. Storage is restricted to technical administrators. You can contact hello@pvcvloer.net to request access or deletion. This does not sign you up for marketing.
Semmy does not send emails or book appointments from the chat. The Email button opens a draft in your own email client. A request is only sent once you send it yourself.
Room photos are only sent when you give permission and start the visualisation. WaveSpeed processes the photo using the selected image model to replace the floor. According to WaveSpeed, input files remain available for a maximum of seven days. The result link on this site expires after one hour. We do not use the photo for marketing. Colour, size and pattern are a visual impression; judge the actual floor using samples. Do not upload photos of people or sensitive information.
Weather data on this website
The weather indicator next to the clock is an hourly forecast for Amsterdam based on data from MET Norway, used under CC BY 4.0. The temperature is rounded. We do not ask for your location for this.
A Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number and VAT (btw) number are not listed on this site. You can request them via hello@pvcvloer.net.
