Frequently asked questions about PVC flooring prices per m²
What does fitting a PVC floor cost per m² on average?
With us, a PVC floor costs from €70 per m², including the floor, skirting boards and fitting (plus the underlay for click PVC flooring). Wood-effect is around €70 to €80, while herringbone and chevron cost more due to the extra fitting work. Levelling or removing an old floor is priced separately.
What are the most affordable PVC floor options?
Straight-lay wood-effect and concrete-effect are the most cost-effective, starting from €70 per m² including fitting. A 0.3 mm wear layer is sufficient for a bedroom; for a living room, hallway or kitchen we recommend 0.55 mm.
Are there additional costs when fitting a PVC floor?
Yes, if required: levelling (€10 to €25 per m²), removing an old floor (€8 to €12 per m², including disposal) and stairs (€75 to €125 per step). A damp-proof membrane is only added if the moisture reading shows it is needed. Everything is clearly itemised on your quote in advance.
Is fitting a PVC floor more expensive in Amsterdam?
The price per m² is the same. In the city centre, parking and loading can involve extra costs; we discuss how to arrange this during the on-site measurement and include it on your quote.
